MATERIALS and WORKMANSHIP
Artico produces REAL stained glass products. The glass is made in furnaces at over 1,200 degrees Celsius baking the color in. This glass will never fade and our products are safe, durable and built to last for generations. We also incorporate tempered glass to seal the glass art panels giving structural integrity, thermal insulation, sound deadening, ease of cleaning and waterproofing. Authentic materials are imported from manufacturers such as Oceanside, Youghiogheny, Kokomo, Wissmach, Lamberts, Bullseye and others in the United States and Europe. We assemble it using traditional techniques which include brass and zinc came or copper foil, then solder. Artico DOES NOT use colored plastic film, 3D digital print stickers or ‘printing on glass’ methods as offered in the marketplace because these colors will fade and degrade over time. TIFFANY LAMPS
Tiffany is the benchmark for lighting. Artico has produced glass art products with high quality for homes and businesses in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and around S.E. Asia since 1992. Now we are producing Tiffany lighting. Choose from table, ceiling or wall lights. Add warmth and comfort with a Tiffany lampshade by Artico. Made to the high standards you expect. Lamps aren’t all that we use the Tiffany method of copper foil for. We take classic paintings and turn them into stained glass art as a lightbox. CUSTOM BEVELED GLASS
Beveled glass is made by grinding and then polishing an angle into the periphery of the thick glass edge. This art is a perfect match with stained glass. The beveled glass distorts the view, giving privacy and refracts sunlight giving a rainbow of color from direct sunlight. Bevel glass brightens the image and gives privacy without reducing the amount of light. These beveled glass panels make excellent door and window glass options. If you don’t want much color but do want decorative glass art then bevel glass is the choice for you. Artico custom makes all our bevel glass panels according to your design.
